Modification comments:
Driving down to Phoenix from Missoula, MT (1,329 miles)I averaged 27.6 mpg with the A/C & 91% octane gas. Immediately after the modification I saw a significant increase in the power. Was easily able to merge with freeway traffic with A/C on. Later that evening I turned A/C off at a stop light and almost ran into the car in front of me it took off so quickly. On the return trip to Missoula, after about 3 tanks of gas, I started seeing my gas mileage increase. It fluctuated a bit from driving over passes, having my A/C on at times, a frightening high speed 2 hours of bumper to bumper traffic through Salt Lake, and 1 1/2 tanks where I tried 93% octane where it dropped down to 29....but eliminating the 1 1/2 tanks of probably bad gas - overall my average was 34.2 I am VERY pleased with the results.

Took the opportunity to drive from Salt Lake City to Phoenix to meet with Ron. Being the skeptic I am, I suggest we put the truck on the Dynometer. We took horsepower and torque readings before and after the Mod was completed. The Modification took only 30 minutes to complete. Very Happy with the results. Now to have the Wife's Acura modified

That's something that most Subaru owners should know, improvement is possible and 26% is a really nice number. That would be an extra reason to contact Subaru dealers since I am searching and researching for a new car.
10/19/2009 I filled up today after Ron did my Jeep. I had about 35 to 40 miles with over 3/4 tank of gass and today I went all the way down to less then a half gallon of gas left in the tank and I had 374 miles on it so I beleive that I could have gotten 400 plus witch would have a 25% increase in mileg and anout 10 to 20% increase in my 07 Jeep liberty 4x4 witch get less milage. Was getting about 14 t0 15 mpg if I was lucky. now it looks like 20 plus mpg. So get it done it worth it.
